On July 23, CNOOC announced that its proprietary oil field, Kenli 10-1 oilfield has been put into operation.
Kenli 10-1 oilfield is located in the southern part of Bohai with average depth about 17 meters. The main production facilities include a central processing platform, two wellhead platforms and 70 production wells. The oil field currently has 12 wells in production, and daily production of crude oil is about 10,750 barrels. It is expected to achieve the peak of 36000 barrels per day in 2016 according to ODP expectation.
